Perfect Winter Break Outfit

Because it is just not that cold yet and finals are rough, I am dreaming of being home for winter break. I am also dreaming that it will stay this warm for the whole break…but I won’t hold my breath on that one.
This outfit is ideal for meeting up with High School friends to see a movie, go shopping, or just catch up at one of your houses. The layers are great for when you are out and about. I don’t know about you guys, but I am constantly getting hot and cold when I go to restaurants and movies. I feel like there should be a universal temperature for those sorts of places, but sadly they always vary. To combat that struggle, I always wear at least two layers in the winter.
For this outfit, I love the splashes of burgundy and the gold accessories. They are perfect for the holiday season! Perfect Fall Outfit

Must Have Snow Boots

With finals in full swing, busy is an understatement to describe my time.
Running from review session to library has been fairly easy though given the fact that there is no snow yet; however, I am preparing myself for the winter with durable and light snow boots.
These boots are all perfect for scrambling around campus!Must Have Snow Boots

Thankful and Full

Thanksgiving.

Each day brings so many things to be thankful for, but each year we get together as a family and truly think about all the wonderful aspects of our lives. This year, I have so much to be thankful for; good family, good health, good friends, good food, a good life.

During this great day of reflection, I figured I needed to wear good fall colors that would also be comfortable once I eat everything in sight.

Home for the Holidays

Being home for the holidays is great.

It means food, family and a whole lot of lounging around. It also means that the time of year to break out all things sequined and red in your wardrobe has officially begun.

I took full advantage today by pairing my favorite red coat with a glitzy top.

Fuzzy in Fall

Dressing for randomly warm fall days is always exciting. I instantly reach for a plain dress to layer with a fun scarf. Today, I even pulled in my fluffiest sweater to combat the slight breeze.

Library Chic Style

As most of you know, fall is my favorite time of year for fashion.

For classes, it is my least favorite. As soon as the weather starts getting colder, tests begin piling up and suddenly hours are spent in the library everyday. This year, my style is library chic: where comfort meets trends.

Today, I wore the coziest outfit of all- a warm poncho layered with a tank top and leggings. The layers are perfect for the varying temperatures of classrooms and libraries around campus!

Fall Makeup Favorites

Fall. When the leaves turn, the air changes, and my skin dries out the closer it is to winter.

To keep up with all the fall changes, I like to update my makeup and facial products to be seasonally appropriate.

Fall Makeup Favorites

EYES
Wet and Wild Eyeshadow Trios: Amazing in both pigment and shade, these trios are perfect for a quick everyday look. They are also extremely affordable.
Loreal Manga Lash: This mascara is fabulous for a quickly dramatic eye.
NYX Concealer: This concealer has a slightly orange pigment that cancels out my dark circles perfectly. With the late night studies ahead, I rely on this to keep me looking fresh and well rested.
Urban Decay Shadow: These shadows are extremely pigmented and perfect for all day wear.
NYX Eyeliner: This liquid liner has a smooth wand for precise application.
LIPS
YSL Lipstick: These lipsticks are so smooth and buttery. This shade is perfect for all your holiday party desires!
L’Oreal Lipstick: Another great quality lipstick in a fabulously festive shade.
NYX Lip Products: NYX is one of my favorite makeup brands-for good reason! They are so hydrating for the cold winter days.
Jack Black Lip Treatment: This product is my holy grail. I use it every night before bed to keep my lips crack free all winter long.
FACE
Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion: Gentle and thin, this lotion is perfect to put on before bed. It won’t leave your face heavy and greasy, but will keep you nice and hydrated.
Dove Soap: I use this soap on my face all year round. I find that it keeps me grease free and clears up my acne prone skin so well!
Too Faced Matte Finished Foundation: I purchased this foundation this summer and have found it to have high coverage without being too cakey looking.
Ahava Mud Mask: All Ahava products that I have tried have been very impressive. This mask is one of my favorites for a rich, hydrating night in!
What are your fall to winter transitional essentials?
